This is one of 12 micro projects Jeju Special Self-Governing Provice
has planned to implement along a pipeline. The power plant is
connected to a 22.9kV utility system. It is part of the programme
to introduce renewable energy system into Jeju Island. This
hydro power plant, together with photovoltaic systems and wind power
plants, displaces national grid electricity and bring reduction of GHG
emission.
